Help! Labor & pain meds are NOT an option?

I am just needing advice on different techniques that you mothers used for labor. I cannot have any pain medicines during labor because everything that is safe for labor I am allergic to. I had a previous surgery and that is when we found out I was allergic to so much. Either I have reacted to the actual drug or one in the family of it. Plus I don’t want to try it and find out I am allergic DURING labor. Such as Morphine, it actually caused me to be in pain, total body aches with these HUGE knots all over the arm it was put in. I am just wondering what things seemed to help the most with Relaxation and making the pain most manageable. Please, serious answers only. This isn’t really my choice – it’s pretty much a thing i HAVE to do. I know it will be painful. I’m due tomorrow so it will be sometime in the next week or so. Anyone ever had a water birth? Massages during labor? ANYTHING? first time mother that is becoming frightened of labor now that it is getting sooo close.

Lamaze, yoga, and birthing exercises. Not sure how much they work, my mom got an epidural, but she also did those classes!
